The Hermitage Hotel has five main venue options available to suit your conference or event requirements and delegate numbers. Venues can cater for a small private meeting to a few hundred conference delegates comfortably seated theatre style, there is sure to be a venue to suit your individual requirements.

Sefton Meeting Room

Situated in the Wakefield Wing of The Hermitage Hotel, the Sefton Meeting Room is perfect for small group meetings and presentations. The Sefton Meeting Room offers a quiet location with a balcony and views of Aoraki Mount Cook.

Panorama Room

The Panorama Room is an excellent venue for any conference or event. With its spectacular floor to ceiling views of Aoraki Mount Cook and a choice of seating options to capture the views from every corner of the octagonal floor plan this is the ideal daytime venue to impress. If required the Panorama Room is also equipped with curtains to block out those amazing distracting views of the Southern Alps mountain peaks and hanging glaciers. Our experienced team can create the perfect theme for this venue to provide a wonderful atmosphere for any conference or event.

Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Theatre

The Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre is ideal for large group presentations in the theatre or an exclusive event within the cafe. The theatre has a 8m x 4m screen, 2D or 3D state-of-the-art projection equipment and planetarium dome that can be lit to reflect company logos or changing colours to create an atmosphere for each speaker. An exclusive event in the theatre, planetarium or cafe overlooking the museum is designed to give your delegates the 'WOW' factor.

Sir Edmund Hillary Cafe

The Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Cafe has three main areas that can be converted into an ideal conference or event venue. Choose from two large open spaces with windows embracing the views of Aoraki Mount Cook or host your evening cocktail party in the intimate bar area with TV screens, Pool Table and cosy lounge seating. The Cafe is situated on the first floor of The Hermitage Hotel and the venue has the added bonus of overlooking the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre Museum. The Cafe is available for exclusive use in the evenings.

Chamois Bar & Grill

The Chamois Bar & Grill at the Mt Cook Lodge & Motels which is located within the Mount Cook Village. The venue is available for exclusive use during the daytime only and features panoramic windows providing views of Mt Cook and the surrounding alps.

Alpine Restaurant

The Alpine Restaurant is the hosting venue for conferences or events requiring large numbers of seated delegates. The restaurant can be setup in an assortment of seating configurations all with inspirational views of Aoraki Mount Cook and the southern alps from every seat. The venue is split level and can be setup to utilise the entire floor space available to make the most of your conference or event requirements.
